Regional Weather: Southeast U.S.

A drier period. The cold front that entered the region over the weekend is now stalled over the Gulf Coast / northern FL, where it will remain for several days. It will be partly cloudy with scattered showers south of the front. Cooler, less humid air is in place north of the front; no rain is expected. A front dropping toward NC may trigger a shower late Tuesday into Wednesday. Highs in the 80s to low 90s, lows in the 60s mainland, 70s FL.

 

OUTLOOK:

Overview: Epidemic spread possible in FL. The threat of any epidemic spread should be limited to central FL early this week, where mixed conditions prevail during the transport events.
