All this occurs along and ahead of a cold front pushing into the eastern and southern U.S.. Rain and showers will occur in most areas, heaviest near these 2 features. The weather should trend drier as the days progress. Highs in the 80s and 90s, lows in the 60s and 70s.

OUTLOOK:

Overview: Epidemic spread likely in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, possible elsewhere. Attention remains focused on the transport events coming out of the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions. Friday's move northeast, Saturday's move ENE, and Sunday's track near-source and east. Slightly favorable to mixed conditions on Friday will increase to mixed to favorable conditions for Saturday's and Sunday's events, as the combined front / Cindy's leftovers become directly involved.
