Regional Weather: lower Southeast U.S.

Dry and warm. High pressure extends over the region from the Atlantic. Skies will be sunny to partly cloudy. No rain is anticipated, save for a stray shower in southern FL due to onshore flow. Showers with the next cold front should stay to the north and west. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 50s and 60s.

OUTLOOK:

Overview: Epidemic spread unlikely. Transport events are tracking west to WNW. The threat of epidemic spread to other areas appears quite low, as abundant sunshine should kill any airborne spores and the events moving toward the FL panhandle / southern AL should not encounter any rainfall. Some spread near the southern FL source is possible.
