Regional Weather: Central & Eastern U.S. / southern Canada

Continued mostly dry. High pressure is in general control of the weather. A new frontal system will enter the picture Saturday and Sunday. There will be a chance of rain, mainly in the northern areas. Portions of the far South may also see a shower. Quite warm with highs from the 60s to 80s, lows in the 50s and 60s, with cooler temperatures in the North.

OUTLOOK:

Overview: Epidemic spread unlikely. The persistent weather pattern produces risk patterns like the ones earlier this week. Epidemic spread is highly unlikely across the northern sections and most of the South. The lone exceptions are near the southern FL and deep south TX sources.
